Salon 

The salon business is widely spread in Kenya. Most Kenyan women go to salons regularly to get their hair dressed in all kinds of ways. The Deaf Centre has supported deaf women in opening their own salon. At the moment one deaf lady runs her own salon successfully and another salon is in proces of being opened. Also, the Deaf Centre works with existing salons in and around Kwale town where they place deaf women for an attachment.
