Projects and small Business

At the Deaf Centre we initiate various social projects and business ventures. The purpose is to create opportunities for social and economic development of the Deaf community in Kwale, and specifically for the residents of the Deaf Centre. We create jobs and opportunities to gain work experience and to develop skills. Next to this, the Deaf youth are being guided towards paying jobs elsewhere in relevant sectors.

Secondly, the business ventures also generate income for the Deaf Centre and help to become more independent. Our aim is to be completely self supporting in 2025.
