Kwale Deaf Centre Location


The Deaf Centre is located in the town of Kwale in Kwale County, a district in the southernmost tip of Kenya at the border with Tanzania and about 40 kilometers south of Kenya's second city: Mombasa. 

Kwale is the county's capital, but not the largest town. That is the seaside resort of Ukunda, where the famous Diani Beach is located. The distance between Ukunda and Kwale is less than 30 kilometers.
 

Shimba Hills National Reserve and Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary are well-known attractions often visited by tourists to the Kwale province. The main economic activities of the Kwale province are fruit, animal husbandry, mixed farming, fishing, mining and trade.
